bang...bang...bang...bang...bang...bang!!!!!

take a bow yuvraj...take a bow...!!!

in history he was the prey..... but today he emerges out as a big hunter...!!!!

six sixes in a row.... sounded like this from the words of the commentators....

bang...bang...bang...bang...bang...bang!!!

this is how it started ....

stuart broad was the victim.... he was bowling the 19th over of the innings.... and

first ball: bang!!! straight over the long on...massive six... (105 m)he might have thought that he had the biggest six of the tournament but who cares.... it got the runs it needed to...

second ball: bang!!! just a flick of his legs and gone for a six... shortest of all these sixes...

third ball: bang!!! moves to his right and way she goes over the extra cover.... the sound of the timber was melodious.... that's yuvraj style....

fourth ball: bang!!! moves to the right again and steers it over backward point.... my goodness.... i thought only sehwag could do that.... now it's yuvraj...

fifth ball: bang!!! yuvraj sits on his knees and bludgeons it over the midwicket... and the ball just sails over the fence... poor ball... must have some pain... if it were alive...

sixth ball: bang!!! yuvi looks at mascrenhas and remembers the day... when he was ripped apart by those 5 consecutive sixes... and as broad approaches wid the ball in his hands... yuvraj waits for his moment and off she goes again... this time over mid on... handsomely executed....

thats it... yuvraj is a hero for india... sets a new record ....never in the history of cricket has it been done in the international format....

both the captains at the end of the game ...accept that..this over..made the difference...india won by 18 runs eventually... and keeps alive the hopes of it reaching the semifinals of the first ever t-20 cricket world cup...

A good beginning is half done...."only half done"...

"forget greatness, for it eludes the most talented. It is the ability of a player to convert every single drop of potential into performance that makes him a better player..."

it looks like good statement...doesn't it.... ??... read that from the last week sportstar weekly...

but i wonder why.... indian cricketers never realised this... do they feel that ... they have been there and done that... when they won the test series....??

It would be a cliche to say that... indian players are sloppy in the field... but would it be the same... i mean shud it be the same... wid new forms of the game ... being brought in to the system...??.....

the commentators say that india has a batting line up formidable than most better teams in the world...

three of the top four batsmen in the order ..have put together 35,000+ runs.... isn't it wonderful on paper...but games or not won on paper ... they are won on this ring kind of thing with 11 players grappling every single moment to show their potential....

The last match between india and england.. once again shows....how poor finishers...indians are...
i remember a tour against sri lanka... when india lost almost all the matches... having had a great start.... this shows how complacent we are...

because we believe... that the opposition batting line up is merely 6-7 players... and the rest are trivial... we seldom see ..these so-thought "trivial" players do more than bad in any odi...
forget bad... they have done quite good... and why does this happen...??

A question to brood over....!!!!
