It was more than just a lump in my throat when i read the article about the mass killings in gujarat in 2002 . This gross act was an exhibition of demonic behavior at the highest level. People were killed(many infact were burned to death), treated grossly, and were left homeless.
I know that most of us are aware of this gruesome act and it has been almost 6 years now that it has happened, but it makes me feel how cruel the world around me is.
I was discussing this with one of my friends and she says that ... this is a phase in the process of civilization of mankind and it was evident that incidents like these happen in a multi religious nation like India. If this was true... then the very meaning of civilization is defied. Man is progressively becoming a beast.
A wise man once man said that religion is a belief on the basis of which you live your life. Fortunately for him he is not alive to see these atrocious human acts....
